Wednesday, February 25, 11:30 am - Preschool Storytime - Ages 3-5. No registration required.

Thursday, February 26, 9:30 am - Book Chat for Busy Parents - Parents "book chat" while keeping an eye on their youngsters. The Known World by Edward P. Jones. No registration required.

Saturday, February 28 - LOVETTSVILLE LIBRARY'S 19TH BIRTHDAY!! Come enjoy a day filled with ballons, birthday cake and some very special programs in honor of our 19th birthday! No registration required!
  • 11:00 am - Animals in Winter with Alonso Abugattas - Recommended for ages 4 & up. Find out what animals do to survive during these hard winter months and meet some cool critters up close.
  • 1:30 pm - Furnace Mountain Band - Recommended for all ages. Acclaimed local musicians play ethno-Appalachian roots music.
  • 4:00 pm - Family Wii Time - Recommended for all ages. Come as a family and try out the Nintendo Wii, playing games like Wii Sports and Carnival Games.

Saturday, March 14, 2:00 pm - Mucho Gusto: Festive Music from World Cultures Near and Far. This Shenandoah Valley quartet plays festive dance tunes from cultures near and far, with zest and gusto, on accordion, mandolin, bouzouki, hammer dulcimer, fiddle, guitar, bass, and percussion.
