Adult Book Club @ 9:30 am - this month is a book swap, so bring in your favorite book to discuss. No registration required.

Virginia Readers' Choice

We held our last meeting of the Middle School Virginia Readers' Choice book club where we voted on our favorite book. Here were the choices: (Click on the title to go to the LCPL catalog where you can request the book)

The winner for our book club was Day of Tears: a novel in dialogue by Julius Lester, with two votes, and The Sacrifice by Kathleen Benner Duble, with one vote. We'll let you know what the statewide results are when they come in. Check out their site HERE.

The book club is open to librarians, teachers, authors, illustrators, parents, and anyone who would like to discuss children's books. The club's selections will feature a variety of book genres.
