Fairies Flit @ the library

Thanks to all the fairies, knights, and mortal children
who visited our Fairy Tea Party on September 23rd.
Here they are with their fairy posies. We started with
a fairy spell. We played fairy games like Fairy Freeze
and Magic Present. We enjoyed the following books:

Child of Faerie/Child of Earth (Yolen),

Princess Princess (Dale), and

Alice the Fairy (Shannon).

We made posies, had a snack, and finished our time with a reading of Robert Graves' I'd Love to be a Fairy Child.

If you missed the fun, come to one of upcoming monthly craft storytimes:

Pumpkin Tales & Craft: Wednesday, October 14th, 4 pm

Turkey Tales & Craft: Wednesday, November 18th, 4pm

Register online up to 2 weeks before the day of the event.

Annual Book Sale

Despite the rain for Octoberfest, the library held its annual book sale last weekend. Luckily, the library had space to move the sale inside. This didn't seem to deter patrons, browsers, and visitors from stopping by the sale. A warm, dry spot seemed to be just what many fest-goers needed.
